ME, TOO!
I feel as if the waiting game for the selection committee of the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend to decide my fate is so difficult! It’s the “Are you good enough?” question–THEN you have to actually compete!
I’ve had 2 fundraisers so far to raise the necessary $3000 for me to go solo and another $2000 for my group to go. We are about halfway to goal #1 and just under a third of the way to goal #2.
I’m aiming for 5 more fundraiser at 4 different locations. I have chosen the locations and hope that they agree to my terms! If I had my way, I would have Apex on April 21, Phase 1 on April 29, Cobalt May 11, So Addictive on May 20 and Phase 1 on May 27.
I promise that as soon as I hit my goal of $5000, I’ll split the excess back with the bar. Ideally, I’d get the entire door. So Addictive and Cobalt don’t have cover charges normally, so I’d like to have events there with cover charges and take the door and the bar can have the bar! No sweat! Then those who DO have covers, Phase 1 and Apex, I’ll work out a different arrangement. Phase 1 knows the arrangement from before, and Apex will be a WHOLE NEW contract!
I know I have what it takes to be Miss Exotic World. It’ll be even better if I can have some extra support from the businesses that I regularly support. Is that too much to ask? :-/

OH! I even have chosen my performers for the next 3 shows… just need to pin down dates before I go any further!
