A private show PT 3 recap

This show was an experiment in new venues.

The Red Palace received us well. The crowd was intimate, but receptive.

I opened the show with my classic “ado What?” performance. No intro, just burlesque. It was a different way to start, so I gave it a try. I liked it.

I was followed by Rocky’s performance of Overnight Celebrity featuring E-Cleff–a real crowd pleaser.

Miss Plain Jane followed with “Wine Women and Song” complete with the chugging of a bottle of gin (filled with water, of course)!

Who to follow? The sexiest chocolate drag king in the Dc Metro Area– E-Cleff with “Touch” by Omarion.

To close out act 1, Zak Las Vegas performed a classic song by Bob Seger. The one that was made even more famous by Tom Cruise in Risky Business– “Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

Our beneficiary for the evening was the performance art troupe Table 8–whose producer, Haley Brown, said a few words to take us into the intermission.

The break lasted about 15 mins–just long enough to smoke, pee and get another drink so that our guest performer, Miss Vixen Noir, could open up act 2 with a number that was in 3 parts. One that included live singing, spoken word and crowd/DJ participation.

I had to follow her—!— and I did so with my Britney Dance Mix of “What It’s Like to be Me” and “Toxic.”

Velvet Kensington took the place of Plain Jane in act 2 with her classical burlesque style. Her song was “A Good Man Is Hard to Find.”

Rocky surprised me with his second number. He performed a song I’d been requesting since February. “Recognize It” by Sean Paul. He’s such a darling!

How do you close a show like that?
I know! Lets add a boi-lesque number featuring the sexy Duncan Deeply! She performed to Grace Kelly by Mika– one of my FAVORITE songs!

All in all? I look forward to next time!!

Until then–
