Where to begin?!
The show at So Addictive Lounge on the 9th of June– 6 performers: Lola, Rocky, Velvet, Shane, BJ and Me. Femmes did 3 numbers, Kings did 1 or 2. 15 acts, 75 mins. Amazing. Small turn out, but amazing show. Don’t miss the July edition!
6/11- Capital Pride Parade was a little more stressful than necessary, bur ended extremely well. Miss Phase 2011 couldn’t make it, but Miss Phase 2010 represented!
That night was the official closing party at Apex. Turnout? Amazing. 6 bars opened, including upstairs. A surreal experience hosted by B.O.I. Marketing and the Ladies of Lure. E-Cleff emceed and performances were by PT, Rocky, Mz Pooh, Thisway and Spencer/Dixie/Roland/Prince! All-Star cast!
6/12 was a complete shit-show. The festival main stage performance became a rainbow stage performance, Thriller w E-Cleff was good and the duet with Duncan Deeply of Glee’s Pokerface was better than expected!
Hell Yes.
Then last night, at Remington’s, I started my spoken word career! I did Alix Olsen’s Cute for a Girl. They LOVED it. Followed with Raise Your Glass by Pink complete with chains and a 48-oz novelty guitar souvenir cup from my trip to Las Vegas! The crowd loved the monologue, not too fond of Pink or my strip. Interesting.
This may be the beginning of a new era. PT is no longer going to be identified as a Burlesque Dancer. I am now a Tease Queen. A cisgender female who teases as burlesque dancersdo, but BETTER.
Bring. It. On.
